FARM projects
This past two years have been busy. We commenced a restoration project on our 1870’s bank barn; built two high tunnels; and got our flower and tree production operation going.

FARM HOME LIFE
Nearly a decade ago a phone call out of the blue led my husband and I to the unthinkable—leaving our beloved California. An offer we could not refuse took us first to Tulsa, Oklahoma, then to Fort Wayne, Indiana, and, ultimately, to our dream life.
FIRST FLOWER CROP
We grew our first Dahlia test bed crop last summer of 2019. Since we didn’t yet know where their permanent home would be, we started them in grow bags. As it turned out, they loved them! Take a look…

YEAR 2020 FLOWER CROP
This year we started with Hellebores in early spring, then Anemones and Ranunculus, and finally Dahlias and Hydrangeas. We also planted approximately 40 Peonies, that will take 2 - 3 years to mature.
